Maranatha Church Beach Trip

This past weekend, some faithful disciples went to Carolina Beach near Wilmington, NC for a much needed getaway! It was a time of rest for all of us as we deepened our relationships with each other, encouraged each other, and of course bummed it out on the beach! On Sunday morning we gathered on the beach for a time in the word and prayer. There was a guy who is coming out of a variety of spiritual backgrounds, including Catholicism, that we were able to clearly show the love of Jesus to. We also had another brother from a different church that we casted vision of disciple making and movements to. This verse is a highlight of our gathering on Sunday: “God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore the joy of your salvation to me, and sustain me by giving me a willing spirit. Then I will teach the rebellious your ways, and sinners will return to you.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭CSB‬‬
